The hotel is housed in a 12th-century pilgrims' inn, and its original structure includes an interior Andalusian patio with a central fountain and a wish tree where guests leave their wishes. The building also hosts rotating painting exhibitions by local Granadan artists, making the hotel a space for culture and art.

Breakfast is served daily in El Aljibe, an intimate 13th-century cistern that seats about 25 people, featuring a 17th-century inn-style communal table. The buffet includes homemade, local, and organic products prepared artisanal way each morning, with traditional Granadan products like cheeses, ham, and fresh juices. The hotel also offers a free afternoon coffee and tea service in the secluded lounge with a fireplace, available from 4pm to 10pm.
